Treatable Conditions

Conditions are listed here that are potentially treatable with Clinical Massage Therapy. Using a minimum 6-weekly treatment plan approach can provide noticeable and effective improvements as my client waiting list shows, although I am always happy to refer on or recommend another modality if I think it will assist – these treatments are all about you and your needs first and foremost.

Clinical Massage Treatments include:

  • Advanced Clinical Therapy (ACMT): for chronic pain, lack of movement, injuries, stretching or any specific condition or pain to be treated
  • McLoughlin Scar Tissue Release (MSTR®): is a specialised method to safely and gently work with scars and scar tissue
  • I now take both private patient self-referrals and referrals from GP’s/NHS. I work  together with my clients to help get them out of pain and improve their mobility using Zoom & video calls. I teach clinical self care techniques such as self massage, trigger point therapy, soft tissue release, mobilisations, stretching (passive, PNF & AIS), fascial release and scar tissue release

All of my treatments are ‘outcome’ based, where we set benchmarks by which you can measure your progress. They are designed to reduce levels of pain and/or increase range of motion and mobility. Using the Jing Method™  and McLoughlin Scar Tissue Release I am trained to use a wide variety of advanced techniques to achieve this.
