Jing Advanced Clinical Massage for Pain, Injuries & Conditions

The Jing Method™ is a partnership between patient and practitioner where a six session treatment plan is designed to increase your mobility, agility, and joint range of motion (ROM), whilst focussing on decreasing your daily pain. The method works just like Physiotherapy – where you book for a course of treatments. This allows me to achieve effective results – as one or two sessions spread out over time does not give me the opportunity for this.
The Method blends the best of advanced bodywork techniques from both East and West with a truly holistic approach based on the biopsychosocial model of pain and modern neuroscience. The techniques used include:
- Range of motion assessment
- Orthopaedic functional muscle testing
- Hot/cold therapy
- Amma Fusion
- Trigger Point Therapy (TPT)
- Neuromuscular Techniques (NMT)
- Fascial Release: direct & indirect myofascial release
- Manual Therapy
- Stretching: Static or Passive; Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) & Active Isolated Stretching (AIS)
- Physiotherapy techniques
What Makes The Jing Method™ Different?
What distinguishes and sets the Jing Method™ apart is its multi-modal approach under the acronym HFMAST and truly holistic approach using the Biopsychosocial model – which also looks at psychological factors such as emotional well-being, mental health and self-esteem, social circumstances like peers, family and support network as well as the biological elements like their physical health, medication and genetics.
Jing Massage – A Centre of Excellence
The revolution that is The Jing Method™ was pioneered by international chronic pain experts Rachel Fairweather and Meghan Mari. They have laid out their philosophy and practice in award winning educational text Massage Fusion: The Jing Method™ for the treatment of chronic pain
The Jing Method™ is currently used by massage therapists, osteopaths, physiotherapists, midwives, GPs, and those interested in a complementary health care model for effective pain relief and increased range of motion.
