ACMT – Jing Method Advanced Clinical Massage Therapy

clinical

An assisted stretch of the gluteal and piriformis muscles

These can be used with a wide range of issues – please click onto the Conditions page to see the full list of potentially treatable conditions.

They are particularly to:

  • help with physical injury
  • support with a physical condition
  • decrease pain
  • increase range of motion
  • have a chosen and defined outcome which can be benchmarked

I set benchmarks which you can measure over the course of your treatments to see how they are effectively helping your issue.

As such these can only be booked as a course of a minimum of 4-6 Treatments at a time so that I can help you gain effective and long-term results – reducing pain and improving mobility.

Jing Method™ Advanced Clinical Massage is a unique outcome based system for addressing chronic musculoskeletal pain through a tried and tested fusion of advanced soft tissue and massage techniques.

Effective with most types of chronic musculoskeletal pain including; back pain, sciatica, neck pain, whiplash, migraines, frozen shoulder, sports injuries, knee pain, ligament and tendon issues. As well as systemic conditions like fibromyalgia, myofascial pain syndrome, rheumatoid arthritis and plantar fasciitis.

The Jing Method™ is a partnership between patient and practitioner where a six session treatment plan is designed to increase your mobility, agility, and joint range of motion (ROM), whilst focussing on decreasing your daily pain. The method works just like Physiotherapy – where you book for a course of treatments. This allows me to achieve effective results – as one or two sessions spread out over time does not give me the opportunity for this.

The Jing Method™ blends the best of advanced bodywork techniques from both East and West with a truly holistic approach based on the biopsychosocial model of pain and modern neuroscience. The techniques used include:

  • range of motion & orthopaedic assessment
  • hot/cold therapy
  • trigger point therapy
  • neuromuscular techniques
  • fascial work: direct & indirect myofascial release
  • acupressure points
  • passive, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation & active isolated stretching
  • manual therapy
  • physiotherapy techniques

MSTR® – McLoughlin Scar Tissue Release

McLoughlin Scar Tissue Release is designed to gently and effectively release restricted scars and scar tissue at a pace to suit you.

Unlike muscular tension and restrictions which can build up again dependant upon the cause, MSTR® permanently releases the scar tissue restrictions, although the extent to which this can be achieved varies with each client.

As such it can have a profound effect on knock-on physical factors such as pain, posture and tendency to injury, as well as on the mental and emotional issues which can be linked to scars and the events that caused them.

It is a highly flexible technique which can be effective for the majority of scars no matter how old.
