A Natural Way To Treat Scars

I have had a few clients who have suffered with scarring after injuries or operations. At best they are usually prescribed mineral-based creams to assist with the itching & post-operative scarring. Chemically, the molecules in mineral-based creams are too large to sink into the skin, so they can protect wounds & scars by forming a barrier, but they can’t actually penetrate the skin to provide the kind of benefits that plant-based products, with their smaller molecules, can. Using my naturally Soothing Scar Balm can help heal, smooth, soften & even ease the itching of the skin – for the results in photos just scroll down!

‘The scar is getting less visible every day & is healing really well. Brilliant, wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to others’ (Shane Bennett, Lincs)

A Summer Challenge

Summer is a time for creativity & when my clients ask me to create new natural products for them I relish the challenge. Hence my recent blog all about Coconut oil & my brand new Coconut Drench Cream – especially designed for dry, cracked & thirsty skin.

Recently seeing a photo on Facebook of my friend Shane’s hand post-surgery led to me contacting him to suggest trying a trial pot of my natural remedy for post-operative scars. I suggested that he might want to try my Soothing Scar Balm, which has previously produced very good results. In fact, even my sternest critic, my grandmother, was impressed with the reduction of her scar after hip surgery! I persuaded Shane to try a sample size (£5 for 15mls) & he soon ordered a large pot! (£20 for 60mls).

Scar Healing Balm – The Results!

I am happy to let the results speak for themselves in the range of photos Shane gave me below.

A photo of Shane's hand that he posted on Facebook to show his post-operative scar

Photo 1: 4 weeks after the operation with no treatment

Even I was surprised by just how much better Shane's post-operative scar was looking - a real reduction in redness, less defined borders to the wound & where were those stitches going?....

Let’s have a more detailed look at Shane’s hand before and after using the Balm over the last month & a half.

This is the photo of Shane’s hand that he originally posted on Facebook showing his post-operative scar. This was 4 weeks after his operation & sadly he had not been given any treatment advice, medication or creams to assist with healing.
