Recipes – Chia Seeds

There are simply countless recipes involving Chia seeds, they don’t have much taste in themselves so can be added to just about anything – sprinkled over salads, added to smoothies etc.

Chia Pudding

The fact that they thicken & jellify in liquid means that they make excellent puddings.

  • Simply add 250g of Chia Seeds to milk, or if you prefer, Almond, Coconut Milk or other kinds of dairy-free milk, & chill in the refrigerator overnight
  • This makes a Tapioca-like pudding, but if you prefer it dreamily smooth, simply blend it
  • If it needs to be sweeter for you, add Agave, Maple Syrup or Raw Honey
  • Add raw cacao (healthy option), cocoa powder or melted chocolate for chocolatey goodness & serve with Strawberries or Cherries
  • Or add vanilla pod, seeds, or essence
  • Or add Cinnamon & Nutmeg & serve with apple
  • Or Banana or Strawberries or Raspberries or your favourite fruit – you get the idea – the possibilities are endless! 🙂
